THE HEART THAT STARTED IT ALL

THE HEART THAT STARTED IT ALL

A FIND IN THE PARK

I found this heart on the sidewalk in the park. Some graffiti you just don't mind.
This was found on a tree stump on the beach. It is what seems to be the remains of a limb on this tree.

A heart is a heart!
This wonderful HEART was discovered among very large old trees that had spent many years floating in the sea before coming to rest on the beach north of us near the local Indian Reservation.  It measures about 5 inches high and 2 inches across.

Red Heart Vase

Red is one of my favorite colors and add it to a heart vase and I can't live without it.
I found this beautiful HEART art on a free picture site on the internet.
I think it is so pretty.
See, I can find HEARTS everywhere.

ANOTHER FIND FROM THE SEA

This pretty HEART is made of wood and washed in one day while I was beach combing.
Of course I had to pick it up and bring it home to add to the HEART Collection.
I found this many years ago and have wondered if it was used by the Indians for perhaps a weight for their fishing net or possibly a tool at their encampment.
But I posted it here because it looked like a HEART to me.
Another HEART stone found by the sea thanks to Mother Nature

THE HEART THAT STARTED IT ALL

This is the HEART that started it all.
I found this beautiful little HEART while I was beach combing during very low tide near my home by the sea.
I have wondered many, many times who or what created this little jewel.
It appears to be two different stones but then it looks like one solid stone.
I like to imagine that many years ago a sailor spent his down time craving this little jewel for his girl that was waiting for him back home.
Did he make it back home?
Was she waiting for him?
Did he accidentally drop this overboard?

It measure just about the size of a United States quarter coin.

I am certain I will never know the origin of this little HEART but I can tell you it has a peculiar feeling when I hold it in the palm of my hand.
I just wish it could talk.
